Timings and Holidays

CGI remains closed on Fridays and Saturdays and on designated Indian and UAE public holidays. The list of public holidays for the current year is attached. This is subject to modification on the basis of instruction received from Government of India from time to time.

The CGI also renders consular services on Fridays at the Indian Association premises at the five Northern Emirates – Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah & Ras Al Khaimah. Timings and other details of these services can be obtained from the respective Associations.

Working Hours 0800 to 1630 hrs. from Sunday to Thursday 1300 to 1400 hrs. Lunch Break
Documents Submission Time 0800 to 1200 hrs. (Gate closes at 1200 hrs.)
Documents Delivery Time 1400 to 1600 hrs. (Gate closes at 1630 hrs.) However, attestation documents are delivered in the morning only (within 30 minutes of submission of documents).

Timings for Passport and Visa Services and Attestation Services

Passport and Visa services are open from 8am – 8pm, Saturday to Thursday at the respective BLS International Centres. Please check the BLS International Website. for more details.
IVS Global facilitates the Attestation Services at the premises located at the Business Atrium, No. 201, 202 on 2nd floor, Opposite AL Naser Club, Oud Metha, Dubai from: 8 am – 3 pm, Sunday to Thursday except holidays.
